Ardross Castle Wedding Videographer
Filming Weddings at Ardross Castle
One of the Most Iconic Wedding Venues in the Scottish Highlands
Nestled in the countryside of Ross-shire just north of Inverness, Ardross Castle is a breathtaking historic estate known for its dramatic Scottish Baronial architecture, sweeping grounds, and cinematic atmosphere. In recent years the castle has become internationally recognisable as the filming location for the hit BBC series The Traitors, bringing global attention to the venue and significantly increasing interest from couples wanting to marry there. The popularity of the show has helped cement Ardross Castle as one of the most talked-about and sought-after wedding venues in the Scottish Highlands.
As a wedding videographer, Ardross Castle is also a venue that is particularly convenient for me to film at, as I happen to live just a five-minute drive from the estate. Being so close means I know the surrounding area well and can easily access the venue, making it a relaxed and seamless location for me to work while capturing the grandeur of the castle and the beauty of its grounds.
I have already filmed weddings at Ardross Castle, and it is always a spectacular location for creating cinematic wedding films. However, due to the popularity of the venue and my busy schedule, there have been many occasions where couples have enquired about my availability specifically to film their wedding at Ardross Castle, only to find that I am already booked for another wedding on the same date. Unfortunately this means I have had to turn down several opportunities to film there, which is always disappointing as it is such an incredible venue to work at.
